What this site collects

The site has no contact forms, no newsletter sign-up, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts. It does not set cookies of its own.

  • Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request data (browser, time, page requested) to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some cases.
  • Fonts. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
  • The checklist. The checklist and its PDF are free to read and download. No email address or other details are asked for, and nothing is recorded about who downloads it beyond the hosting data above.

When you contact me

If you email me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. Email to eg@alarifa.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to my mailbox at techconcepts.org, which is hosted on Google Workspace.

If you book a call, the booking page is provided by Google Calendar appointment scheduling. Google processes the details you enter there (typically your name and email address) and I receive them to hold the call.

I use these details only to reply, to hold the call you asked for, and — if we work together — to prepare and run the engagement and invoice for it. I do not add anyone to a mailing list.

04

Legal basis and retention

  • Replying to your message or holding a call you requested: steps taken at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • Running an engagement: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Invoices and accounting records: legal obligation under Spanish tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Correspondence that does not lead to work is deleted when it is no longer needed, and in any case within two years. Records linked to an engagement are kept for as long as Spanish tax and commercial law requires, and then deleted.

05

Who else processes data

Only the service providers named above: Cloudflare (hosting and email routing), Google (fonts and call booking), and my email provider. Some of them are based in, or may process data in, the United States; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube and Spotify take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

I do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

06

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Email eg@alarifa.com and I will reply within one month.

If you think your data has been mishandled, you can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
